We had Big Breakfast, Chicken Avocado and Camembert Panini and a Steak Sandwich and it was all beautiful. Staff were friendly and place was cosy and nice. A must try for breakfast brunch or lunch.
We went there to have a quick breakfast and it was so good! Great coffee and attentive service. Food was delicious! We got a bacon chop and potato-sweet corn croquettes. Everything was so-so good! Highly recommend this place!

Welcoming and helpful staff. Scrumptious food, with big servings. Definite value for money. Steak sandwich was to die for. Also had a nice hazelnut long black. I definitely recommend this hidden treasure. Coming back next time I'm in Townsville. Good stuff The Balcony! 👍
First timers. Came here for bfast whilst staying on Palmer Street. Only a short walk. Staff are very friendly, atmosphere very relaxing and the food was delicious. The poached pear was beyond my expectations. Highly recommend 😄
Best Breakfast! Our first time to Townsville and we stumbled across The Balcony. So glad we did! Our server was so great - friendly, helpful, great customer care - she even remembered our coffee orders when we showed up again the next day. The breakfasts were so good! I got the avocado on sourdough both days it was perfect! My family ordered eggs Benedict and the asparagus Gruyère and loved them. Coffee and espresso drinks were excellent too. Don’t miss this perfect and friendly breakfast spot when in TSV!
What an unforgettable evening at The Balcony Restaurant! The team went above and beyond to cater for our ladies food and wine club, Beefsteak and Burgundy, and we could not have felt more welcomed or spoilt. From the moment we arrived, the staff, owners and chef made us feel incredibly special with their warmth, attentiveness and genuine hospitality. We always love being spoilt by this wonderful team, but this evening truly exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely exceptional. It was beautifully presented, thoughtfully curated and bursting with flavour. Every course went far beyond what we anticipated and had our group talking long after the night ended. The catering for dietary needs was amazing thought out. The atmosphere was intimate, festive and wonderfully warm, creating the perfect setting for great conversation, laughter and shared memories. Thank you to everyone at The Balcony for such a memorable experience. We cannot wait to return!

The portion was generous, everything tasted really fresh, and it was super delicious. On top of that, we felt very welcome.
